ABOUT SLOAN
As a former dancer with the New York City Ballet, I have a strong connection to the classical arts, and an innate appreciation for those who are passionate and dedicated to what they do.
In 2005, my passion for arts and technology led me to create thewinger.com, a website where dancers share their individual perspectives on the dance world. My experience in movement, rhythm, visual arts and technology, all help me in creating dynamic media for unique brands.
In my 2 years as Director of New Media at New York City Ballet, I was responsible for all video content creation and strategy, social media strategy and future media planning, bringing a consistent, unique and personal voice to the company's media activities. In October of 2009 I left my position at NYCB to venture off on my own, where I create video, mainly content for arts clients.
